Your User Profile
Your user profile on Mnemonic AI is the central place to manage your account. From here you can change your name, email address and manage Two factor Authentication and API keys.

Personal Information
Your personal information determines how you log into Mnemonic AI and how others see you.
Profile Picture
Isn’t it nice to see who we are? Your profile information is used throughout Mnemonic AI to show who did what and when. Especially in larger teams, we recommend using a picture, to make it easy for everyone.
If you do not upload a picture of your liking we default to an avatar.
Name
You can add your full name here. Your first name is used throughout Mnemonic AI to identify who did what and when.
Email Address
Your email address is used for communication, i.e., email reminder, project runs, and log in information. Please make sure, that your email address is current and you have access to it.
Two Factor Authentication
Two-factor authentication (2FA) is a security mechanism that requires users to provide two different authentication factors to verify their identity when accessing an online account or system.
Something you know: This is the traditional password, a piece of information that only the user should know.
Something you have: This is a physical item that the user possesses, such as a smartphone, security token, or smart card. It generates a one-time code that changes regularly and is used alongside the password.
To use 2FA, the user first enters their password (something they know). Then, the system prompts them to provide the second factor, which could be a code sent to their smartphone (something they have). By requiring both factors, 2FA adds an extra layer of security, making it much harder for unauthorized individuals to access an account even if they somehow obtain the password.
The main benefit of two-factor authentication is that it significantly enhances your account security and protects you from unauthorized access. It prevents many common cyber threats, such as password cracking and phishing attacks. Remember to enable 2FA on all your important online accounts to keep your information safe!
Setting Up Two-Factor-Authentication
After logging into Mnemonic AI for the first time, head to your profile. From here you can activate two-factor authentication (2FA) for your profile.
Currently we support 2FA through third-party authenticator apps installed on your smartphone.
A free app is the Google Authenticator App available for Apple and Android.
Once you click on “Enable” our system guides you through the setup with your smartphone or mobile device.

API Keys
An API (Application Programming Interface) is a set of rules and protocols that allows different software applications to communicate and interact with each other. It defines the methods and data formats that applications can use to request and exchange information. APIs enable developers to access specific features or data from a service or platform without needing to understand the underlying code or implementation details. They play a crucial role in enabling the integration of different systems and services, making it easier for developers to create powerful and interconnected applications.
API keys are unique and secret codes issued by an application or service to developers. These keys serve as authentication credentials, allowing developers to access and use the functionalities of an API (Application Programming Interface). When making API requests, developers include their API key in the request to prove their identity and gain access to the API’s resources or services. API keys help control and monitor usage, ensuring that only authorized users and applications can interact with the API. They are essential for maintaining security and managing access to API endpoints.
Setting Up API Keys
If you integrate Mnemonic AI’s analyses into your tools, you need API keys. You can create the API keys in your user profile. Please make sure to secure the API keys, as usage counts against your quotas.
We impose restrictions and allocations on API requests to safeguard the system from excessive data loads and ensure fair distribution of system resources. Please note that these limits and quotas may be modified over time.
For details on how to use Mnemonic AI’s API in your projects, refer to the developer documentation.
